NCMS Partners with the University of Michigan for Michigan Robotics Day

The National Center for Manufacturing Sciences (NCMS) is hosting its fifth annual Michigan Robotics Day bringing together on April 9, 2015 at the University of Michigan’s North Campus Research Complex. The University of Michigan’s Department of Engineering has been a partner of the NCMS for this event since 2011, and together the organizations are proud to host this event for the state of Michigan. This year, Ford Motor Company is the exclusive automotive sponsor for the event.

NAMC Publishes Defense Mobility Enterprise (DME) FY15/16 Annual Plan

December 18, 2014. The National Advanced Mobility Consortium (NAMC) published the Defense Mobility Enterprise (DME) FY15/16 Annual Plan on December 18th, 2014. This marks the first step in an Annual Plan cycle which includes industry white paper submissions and eventually project proposal submissions. The Annual Plan contains 148 projects the Government is seeking to fund in FY15 & FY16 under their Section 845 Other Transaction Agreement (OTA) managed by the Vehicle and Robotics Alliance Program Office (VRA PO) at TARDEC in Warren, MI.
