Project Announcement: Optimizing Processes and Advanced Technologies to Improve Shipyard Maintenance Activities – Phase IV

The US Department of Defense is partnering with industry and academia on a multiphase CTMA initiative to leverage commercial industry best practices, tools, and emerging technologies to refine and optimize processes that improve organizational production, maintenance, and sustainment outcomes at specific maintenance facilities.

Phase IV will leverage lessons learned from the previous phases and establish new processes to review and modify decades-old technical data packages (TDP) and drawings associated with two facilities to ensure accuracy of the technical data to properly maintain, sustain, and secure all major systems and subsystems.  In addition, the project team will implement critical continuous process improvement processes associated with technical advisory reports, technical instructions, and contractual actions required to ensure the necessary parts and maintenance services are available to maximize operational readiness and minimize system down time.

If you feel your organization has the technical capabilities and would like to be considered for this project, please complete the form below and upload your organization’s technical capabilities statement.
