Project Announcement: Improving Logistics, Maintenance, and Sustainment Planning of Wheeled Vehicles and Watercraft – Phase II

The U.S. Army is partnering with industry and academia on a multi-phased CTMA initiative to ensure that the integration of maintenance and sustainment considerations are implemented into all facets of a program. The maintenance and sustainment considerations include planning, implementation, and management activities associated with the acquisition, development, production, fielding, support, and disposal of a system across its lifecycle while optimizing readiness outcomes and minimal lifecycle costs. The initiative will also apply a scalable set of standard processes, templates, tools, and metrics for streamlining the development of lifecycle sustainment plans per DOD LCSP 2.0 Guidance. Phase II will build upon the success of the initial phase by expanding technologies into a broader application of tools, processes, and disciplines.
