Project Announcement: Implement Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning to Improve Supply Chain Management

The US Department of Defense is partnering with industry and academia on an initiative to leverage lessons learned from previous initiatives to implement a strategy and deliver software for a maintenance organization’s use of Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning, with advanced mathematical algorithms in supply chain management.

Leveraging a capability recently developed for one of the Services, this project will implement an operating logistics environment that demonstrates Artificial Intelligence (AI) / Machine Learning (ML) through advanced mathematical algorithms in supply chain management, which enables a combination of predictive maintenance, supply chain optimization and customer enhanced decision-making. The goal with such an implementation is that this capability will increase parts availability, maximize efficient parts usage, and reduce customer wait time.

If you feel your organization has the technical capabilities and would like to be considered for this project, please complete the form below and upload your organization’s technical capabilities statement.
