Project Announcement: Advanced Digital Processes to Reduce Maintenance Down Time for Spare Parts – Phase II
The US Army is partnering with industry and academia on a multi-phase CTMA initiative to advance the state of the art in tools and processes to establish a new digital ecosystem integrated with current government systems and processes. These tools and processes will be able to identify part and supplier risk, resolve critical and safety related part issues, and reduce the time and expense to deliver parts that are reliable, cost effective, and available to meet vehicle maintenance, sustainment, and readiness requirements. This phase will build upon the lessons learned from the initial phase to analyze failure data and common parts from other similar vehicle programs to create the unique sustainment parts list needed for the vehicle fielding.
