Member Value Proposition

Accelerating the adoption of innovative manufacturing technologies is part of the required ecosystem for a strong defense industry and a thriving U.S. economy. NCMS is recognized as the nation’s leading technology consortium that brings industry, academia, and government together to do just that in an organized, structured, collaborative environment. In 2018, it expanded on its mission by launching the new Advanced Manufacturing, Materials, and Processes (AMMP) Program in collaboration with the U.S. Army Research Laboratory. Concurrently, NCMS largest program, the Commercial Technologies for Maintenance Activities (CTMA) Program was and is growing and expanding its own portfolio of technology projects in response to government technology needs.

In 2019, we anticipate propelling NCMS, our members, and partners further and faster as we continue to respond to increasing demands for traditional and non-traditional industry partners with key technology solutions. As NCMS’ defense, energy, environmental, and transportation programs grow, we have the obligation and opportunity to bring more companies forward, provide them with NCMS resources, and help them expand their businesses. NCMS membership remains one of the best ways to access the NCMS network and capture its many benefits.

NCMS will continue to identify, attract, and retain a diverse membership base for future government programs and projects. It is mission-critical for NCMS and its government partners that we work together to identify and transition innovative technologies to the men and women who ensure U.S. safety and security.

NCMS has an exciting agenda for 2019 including:

  • CTMA Partners Meeting
  • NCMS Member Meeting
  • JCAMS Annual Meeting
  • NCMS Technology Showcases and Workshops
  • Innovation Workshops
  • AMMP Program Annual Meeting and Technology Advisory Board Meetings

The entire NCMS team welcomes the opportunity to work with you to advance manufacturing and create innovative technologies to strengthen the U.S. industrial base.
