We offer both manual and automated laser cleaning solutions. Our laser cleaning systems use Pulsed source (highest quality and rated for 100,000 working hours) and range from 50-watts to 2000watts. Laser Ablation
Problem:
P-Laser USA offers laser cleaning machines to replace the use of traditional methods such as toxic chemicals (paint strippers, acid baths, degreasers) or media blasting (sandblasting, soda blasting or dry ice blasting) to remove contamination primarily from metal surfaces. Collection and disposal of byproducts from these traditional methods are time consuming and expensive. When using a laser for cleaning, only a slight vapor is produced as a byproduct which is easily collected with a vacuum.
Technology Solution:
Industrial laser cleaning (or ablation) is the process of clearing away undesired material from a solid surface by irradiating it with a laser beam. By absorbing the energy of the laser beam, the targeted material is heated very quickly, making it evaporate or sublimate. As the surface below does not absorb any energy, it stays untouched/unharmed. By adjusting the settings, the amount of material that is being removed by a single laser pulse can be controlled with extreme precision.
