The symposium will focus on collaboration, knowledge sharing, and best practices for implementing emerging technologies into the AMC Organic Industrial Base (OIB). The NCMS Industry Day will offer the opportunity to showcase a wide variety of next-generation technologies that could contribute to maintenance solutions for the Army community. Exhibitors are encouraged to give actual demonstrations of their solutions’ capabilities.

Digital twins can be used to manage functional assets like manufacturing machinery, including machines, plants, and facilities. With the digital twin component, process management can be greatly simplified via addition of analytics, artificial intelligence, machine learning, Internet of Things (IoT), digital planning, and advanced visualization, to include visual engineering analysis and technical manual requirements.

Industrial and Maintenance Automation – Automation can be defined as an automatic control measure that uses feedback loops (input) from sensors, cameras, encoders, lasers, and probes to control (output) a process, mechanism, or system. Automation is achieved by various means including mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, electronic devices, and computers, usually in combination. Exhibition spaces are limited so reserve yours quickly. Additionally, only one space will be allocated per company.

This will be a great opportunity for the end-users to get hands-on experience with your technology. To provide the most impact, actual demonstrations of capabilities when applicable are highly encouraged.

Exhibiting Details

Exhibit Space: Exhibitor registration includes one 6’ table with two chairs. Due to limited space, only one exhibitor space will be allocated per company.

Wifi Internet Access: Internet access will not be provided by the base. Plan to bring preloaded programs on your device, or on CDs or USBs.

Shipping: Coming Soon.

Electricity: Electricity is available throughout the room, but it is limited. Extension cords and power strips will not be provided. Exhibitors will be responsible for providing their own extension cords. Be sure they are long enough to extend across a room.

Event Security: No security staffing will be provided during the event or after hours for the exhibition area. Be sure to remove valuable items each evening. NCMS shall, under no circumstances, be liable for any lost, stolen, or damaged items

How to get the most out of your participation at an NCMS Technology Showcase

Each exhibitor’s space will be visited by individuals representing Government, Industry, and Academia. Please have a prepared “elevator” description of your technology and how it will benefit maintenance and sustainment efforts. This prepared speech should engage your audience quickly. Be prepared to demonstrate your technology or offer a short presentation on how your technology works. Be sure that you have deliverables that speak to the benefits of your technology, and if possible, create handouts or other marketing collateral.

Actionable Items

      • Make sure your team has an elevator speech. Be prepared to describe your technology solution/service and its benefits in 30 seconds or less.
      • Demo, demo, demo! Demonstrations draw attention at the event.
      • Bring plenty of collateral!
      • Keep your exhibit space staffed. Traffic is unpredictable and intermittent, so plan to have a representative at your table during all show hours.
      • Refrain from packing up or leaving before the event ends. An empty tabletop reflects poorly upon your company/organization.
      • Online Directory: As a part of exhibitor registration, you are required to submit company and technical abstracts. To make a lasting impact, be sure to complete this package by submitting your logo and quad chart to eventsupport@ncms.org.

If guests already have access to the installation because they are military members, retired military members, CAC holders, etc., no further actions are required. If guest does not have access they will be required to submit First Name, Last Names, Driver’s License Number and State license is issued. This information must be submitted by 3/15/24 to obtain base access. Additional details and instructions will be sent after registration.
