Project Announcement: Highly Electrified Vehicles and Infrastructure Connectivity with Common Electrical Micro-Grids

The U.S. Army TARDEC is partnering with industry and academia to assess electrified vehicle components and two-man lift-able, networkable, cybersecure, and microgrids supporting enterprise electrical requirements for worldwide deployment with inherent capabilities to work in disconnected environments. By integrating these components into vehicles and exporting the power from the vehicles, the traditional generators for spot loads can reduce the maintenance/sustainment requirements.
