Project Announcement: Dynamic Component Rebuild Facility Gap – Phase III

The US Department of Defense is partnering with industry and academia on a multi-phase CTMA initiative to improve the efficiency of rotorcraft repair. The overall goal is to test and demonstrate new essential technologies and facility services that can perform their intended function at a specific dynamic component repair facility.

For Phase III, the team will build on successes from the earlier phases and work with a Dynamic Component Repair Facility (DCRF) to meet pre-established mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) facility requirements needed to perform repair, overhaul, and modify rotorcraft. This Phase III effort will result in finalized shop areas identified in the facility layout to demonstrate the more efficient processes and improved maintenance and sustainment operations.
