NCMS and IMS International to Collaborate at World Manufacturing Forum Technical Day

CERNOBBIO, ITALY September 9, 2019 — The National Center for Manufacturing Sciences (NCMS) and Intelligent Manufacturing Systems International, Inc. (IMSI) have partnered to collaborate for the World Manufacturing Forum (WMF) Technical Day on September 25, 2019.

In keeping with the strong partnership between NCMS and IMSI, NCMS International will sponsor and host a keynote on the future of manufacturing. NCMS Senior Vice President, Rebecca Taylor, will provide the keynote address and moderate a panel of industry experts on the utilization of industry standards.

The WMF Technical Day is a full-day event and the first meeting day of the WMF Annual Meeting that aims to discuss on current shop floor and management challenges for manufacturers. The day will focus on new solutions utilizing Industry 4.0 technologies and sharing best practices between industry. The WMF Technical Day will also feature speakers from Accumold, Airbus, Altea UP, ANSYS, INC. ASM International, Clarex, CAM-I, Espedia Consulting, Indra, Grant Thornton LLP, Granta Design, Ltd., KPMG, Lockheed Martin, Parametric Studios, Inc. PDES Inc., Questek Innovations, SAP, Solomon Bruce Consulting Thermo-Calc, Timken Steel Corporation, Vibram and more.

The World Manufacturing Forum is an open platform that aims at enhancing and spreading industrial culture worldwide, to ensure economic equity and sustainable development.

The National Center for Manufacturing Sciences (NCMS) is a cross-industry technology development consortium, dedicated to improving the competitiveness and strength of the U.S. industrial base.
