Aerospace Maintenance Council Hosts First Ever Defense Maintenance Competition
The Aerospace Maintenance Council will host the first Defense Maintenance Competition Monday, December 4 from 12:30-1:00 p.m. and then 4:30-7:00 p.m. during the Defense Maintenance and Logistics Exhibition.
This competition recognizes and celebrates aviation/defense maintenance technicians and raises awareness of the knowledge and skill required to maintain safe, airworthy aircraft, worldwide.
The competition provides an opportunity for current and future maintenance v bprofessionals to showcase their abilities and see how they stack up against peers across the country. Three-member teams compete in maintenance events intended to test skill and knowledge required of a defense maintenance technician. Competitors will compete in a range of events that will highlight their technical prowess in maintenance.
