Sources Sought: Industry Seeks Ceramic Additive Manufacturing Partner
Nahsai, an Ann Arbor-based advanced materials start-up focused on aerospace and defense applications, has patented materials and processes to tailor the electrical properties of specific ceramic materials able to withstand exceptionally harsh environments. To enable the production of more complex structures and devices Nahsai seeks a ceramic additive manufacturing partner specifically capable of producing multi-material ceramic structures. While a selective powder deposition process is envisioned, any technique providing for the combination of two or more ceramic materials (subject to thermal expansion match) into the same component will be considered.
