Sources Sought: Autonomous Facility Health Monitoring and Prioritization
NCMS is assisting the U.S. Navy in locating technology that can monitor facility and critical equipment health. Undocumented/unknown facility deficiencies jeopardize worker safety and throughput opportunities. This technology should be able to readily assess natural disasters and other emergencies returning depots back to a fully mission capable status.
Integrated facility health monitoring efforts must be fielded to enable real-time status and prioritization of repairs, or alternative depot repair source decisions all supporting the Model-Based Enterprise (MBE) efforts. Desired outcomes are:
- Assets (e.g., equipment, materials, tooling) are uniquely tagged and protocols are in place for tagging items beyond the Defense Property and Accountability System
- Parts are shown in data system with a picture/schematic of the item and relevant specifications
- Ability to continuously analyze and optimize facilities and equipment for efficiency and health-based assessment
- Web-based Geographic Information System (GIS) integrating parts location within the MBE solutions to determine exact locations of parts
Responses to Sources Sought should provide:
- Background of capability development
- Examples of where the capability is currently used if any
- Corporate presentation including engineering, manufacturing and testing capabilities
- Cost Summary Form
Interested parties should complete the following form on or before December 11, 2019. All questions and/or inquiries can be addressed to opportunities@ncms.org
