Submission Opportunity: SOCOM Seeks Automotive Power Train Market Insights

USSOCOM is seeking submissions via a Request for Information (RFI) concerning hybrid, fuel cell, and electric powertrain systems for a four (4) passenger Light Tactical All-Terrain Vehicle (LTATV), with a Vehicle Curb Weight (VCW) less than 2,500 lbs.

The purpose of this RFI is to determine the types, suitability, and maturity of hybrid, fuel cell, and electric power trains available in the LTATV market place. Respondents should respond to all parts of this RFI. Respondents shall provide feedback regarding the feasibility of meeting the requirements outlined below with an existing mature vehicle, any driving costs or schedule factors, and/or any additional information that would clarify current Industry capabilities. Responders are encouraged NOT to provide business sensitive information as any information received may be used by the Government. The Government is primarily focused on understanding the marketplace for commercial and non-developmental items and/or commercial items easily modified.

PEO-SW is sponsoring a collaboration event with selected experts from industry to determine the types, suitability, and maturity of hybrid, fuel cell, and electric powertrain systems available in the LTATV market place.
