Sources Sought: Government Agency seeks technologies for handling materials within dry dock environment
NCMS is assisting a government agency in seeking an innovative new technology for the lifting and handling of heavy (up to 10 tons) materials in and out of dry docks (~90 vertical feet) as well as transportation of the heavy items within the facilities. The government is also interested in autonomous operation of these methods.
Responses to this Sources Sought should provide:
- A value-based submission
- Background of capability development
- Understanding of lifting and handling of heavy materials issues and technologies
- Completed Cost Summary Form
