Project Announcement: Reversible Adhesives – Phase 2

A major goal of this project is to enable the continued development of reversible adhesive systems. Partners should possess the ability to develop, characterize, and/or model thermoplastic adhesive systems. These adhesive systems will need to be able to readily incorporate proprietary additives that enable the reversible adhesive system to function correctly.  Adhesive systems will be characterized for important performance criteria, and the use of sensors to gauge performance will be evaluated. Another goal of this project is to model thermoplastic adhesive systems. Partners should have the ability to transfer in-service application requirements to performance requirements for material development.

Those interested in participating in this project should contact Lisa Stobierski by October 4, 2017.  We encourage participation of Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs), including Minority Business Enterprises (MBEs) and Women’s Business Enterprises (WBEs).
