The project will develop battery manufacturing technology without N-methyl pyrrolidone (NMP) in electrodes, and incorporate these electrodes into 6T modules. NMP-free electrode batteries must meet or exceed baseline battery performance as defined in 6T Li-ion Battery Specification MIL-PRF 32565, at 15% reduced cell cost. Prototype cells produced at a battery production line with the NMP-free technology shall be delivered to TARDEC for testing and evaluation.
Those interested in participating in this project should contact Lisa Stobierski, firstname.lastname@example.org by November 15, 2017. We encourage participation of Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs), including Minority Business Enterprises (MBEs) and Women’s Business Enterprises (WBEs).
