Project Announcement: Demonstration of Dynamic Adhesion Strength for Maintenance and Sustainment Environments

The US Army is partnering with industry and academia on an initiative to identify a viable material to develop a novel switchable adhesive prototype and assess its capability to change from a high to a low adhesive state. In addition to optimizing performance, the service life and performance of this device will also be evaluated and tested to gain a better understanding of the limitations of this technology for future use.
