Project Announcement: Army Materiel Command Supply Chain Strategy and Metrics

Army Materiel Command (AMC) seeks support in adopting decision-support tools to improve its operations and predictive readiness and to maximize the value of its data. The Department of Defense (DoD) and Department of the Army (DA) have invested significantly in IT systems that monitor and capture data about their maintenance and sustainment operations; AMC is interested in leveraging that data to design a supply-chain strategy aligned to DA’s needs.

To that end, AMC seeks to adopt industry best practices in strategy, performance management, supply chain management, and organizational governance, with the ultimate goal of transitioning to an outcome-focused performance management approach. To do this, AMC seeks to align its operations, data, and existing systems with its strategic goals, to better assess progress and identify drivers of good performance.

Those interested in participating in this project should contact Debbie Lilu by April 14, 2018. We encourage participation of Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs), including Minority Business Enterprises (MBEs) and Women’s Business Enterprises (WBEs).
