Project Announcement: Advanced Analytical Tools and Processes for Proactive Maintenance of Maintenance Support Devices and Electronics

The U.S. Army is partnering with industry and academia to pilot, and evaluate a common set of analytical tools and processes to proactively identify and solve obsolescence, supply chain, and emerging technology challenges, using an Army maintenance support device critical to testing Line Replacement Units (LRU) in the Abrams Tank and Bradley Fighting Vehicle.  To accomplish this objective, the government will work closely with project partners to leverage commercial technologies and processes to rapidly identify critical obsolescence and supply chain issues for electronic and mechanical parts impacting system readiness of the Direct Support Electrical Systems Test Sets.
