Project Announcement: Wireless Communications for Improved Operations and Maintenance – Phase III

The U.S. Army is partnering with industry and academia to continue evaluating the capabilities, lifecycle costs, integration burdens, security and maintenance implications of a down-selected quantity from seven (7) commercially available wireless communication systems assessed in a lab environment. The desired outcomes of this initiative are to create greater efficiency, increase productivity, and provide access to real-time data. In Phase III, the goal is the further development of a ready solution for digital wireless communications to the U.S. Army’s combat and maintenance support community.
