Project Announcement: Metal 3D Printing for Improved Sustainment at Naval Shipyards

The U.S. Navy is partnering with industry and academia to identify and evaluate technology capable of improving uptime for the fleet, increasing throughput of ship maintenance and repair as well as the productivity of the workforce, and decreasing manufacturing costs using industrial metal 3D printing technology.
