Project Announcement: Maintenance Planning Tool Development for Fuel and Energy – Phase II

The U.S. Marine Corps is partnering with industry and academia on a multi-phase initiative to provide a concept for fuel management and tracking that offers visibility of fuel stores and demand in Distributed Maritime Operations (DMO) and Expeditionary Advance Base Operations (EABO). Phase II will build upon existing accomplishments to align and evaluate technologies that ultimately deliver the required documentation to inform Acquisition Program of Record development. Within the Sustaining the Force in the 21st Century Concept there are four Lines of Effort (LOE): enabling global logistics awareness, diversifying distribution, improved sustainment, and the optimization of installations to support sustained operations. This initiative will address all four lines of effort.
