Project Announcement: LOGCELL Playbook Phase II

Navy Supply Systems Command Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) is interested in creating a playbook and accompanying communications strategy to introduce and promote its LOGCELL decision-support environment to a broad set of government and industry users. The strategy should include a communications plan, a brand identity management approach, and an executable methodology to support LOGCELL’s rollout and increase its adoption.

LOGCELL was created to replace large, cross-functional meetings and multi-day conferences to coordinate military sustainment efforts across services, industry stakeholder groups, and different links in the supply chain. These events were inefficient because of cost, time, and the need for many parties to travel to one location. The LOGCELL environment includes digital meeting and information-sharing tools to create common situational awareness, make decision-making more agile, and improve fleet maintenance and sustainment processes without the need for face-to-face communication. What remains necessary is making users aware of LOGCELL and its capabilities, so that its impact on the Navy and its partners’ work can be maximized.

In this second phase of the project a communication plan will be created and executed, the tools and methods of the playbook will be developed in support of the product and supply management team perspective, and a definition of brand strategy will be defined that aligns with the WSS Strategic Blueprint for Supply Chain Excellence.

Those interested in participating in this project should contact Nicholas Brown  by 08/31/ 2018. We encourage participation of Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs), including Minority Business Enterprises (MBEs) and Women’s Business Enterprises (WBEs).
