Project Announcement: F-35 Joint Program Office Digital War Room Phase II

The F-35 Joint Program Office (JPO) seeks to modernize access to—and increase the analytic availability of—critical programmatic data and information through the creation of a Digital War Room, supporting rapid analysis and decision-making by communicating visualized data and insights via a digital platform (i.e., through desktop, laptop, and mobile devices). JPO currently relies heavily on paper reports to comprehend data from multiple sources, which do not update in real time as data is cleaned or aggregated and which create concerns about its accuracy and timeliness.

Migrating to a digital platform would improve data accuracy, reduce costs and required labor, make decision-making better-informed and more agile, and facilitate the discovery and resolution of data conflicts. To that end, JPO seeks industry partners for work on requirements, technical architecture, development, and launch of the Digital War Room system. During this new phase of the project, Government Furnished Information will be identified and key logistics and supply chain information will be synthesized to develop a detailed description and map of the F-35 production platform. A risk rating methodology will be designed.
