Keynote Speakers Announced for Upcoming CTMA Partners Meeting

The highly anticipated 2022 CTMA Partners Meeting, scheduled for May 3-5 in Virginia Beach, Virginia, has announced this year’s keynote speakers:

Steven J. Morani

Steven J. Morani is a member of the Senior Executive Service and currently serves as the Acting Assistant Secretary of Defense for Sustainment. In this capacity, he is the principal staff assistant and advisor to the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment, and the principal logistics official within the Department of Defense. In addition, he serves as Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Logistics. In this capacity, his logistics portfolio includes maintenance, supply, distribution, international logistics, weapon system product support, and logistics workforce development. Mr. Morani previously served as the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Materiel Readiness, providing oversight of the Department’s $90 billion maintenance program.

Mr. Morani enlisted in the US Air Force in June 1983 and started his career as an HVAC mechanic. After completing more than 28 years of active military service, he retired at the rank of colonel, last serving as the Chief, Materiel Support Division, Headquarters US Air Force. He transitioned to the federal civilian service in June 2011.

Howard K. Marotto

Howard Marotto is currently Additive Manufacturing Business Director for EWI, an engineering services consulting firm that delivers innovative technical solutions for manufacturing processes. In that capacity, he provides leadership and strategic direction to EWI’s AM portfolio. Prior to that role, Mr. Marotto worked for the Phillips Corporation as the AM Strategic Business Development Manager.

Mr. Marotto has also served in the Marine Corps Reserve and the US Marine Corps, where he worked as a policy analyst, policy writer, aircraft maintenance leader, and logistics manager. In the latter role, he developed the vision and roadmap for AM technology, then led logistics innovation and integration within the Marine Corps. His most recent post was as a Marine colonel serving as Operations Officer and Deputy Commander for 4th Marine Logistics Group in the Marine Forces Reserve.

 

Attendance at the Partners Meeting is capped at 200 individual attendees and 30 exhibitors to ensure that all attendees have the opportunity to engage with DOD decision-makers. In previous years, tickets have sold out quickly, so don’t delay!
