NCMS Responds to COVID-19 Pandemic

The National Center for Manufacturing Sciences (NCMS) is closely following developments regarding COVID-19 and evaluating all of our activities to determine the best course of action.  The health and safety of our partners, members, and staff are our highest priority and we will continue to implement the recommended safety measures issued by the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) as well as state and local health authorities. We will continue to assess the COVID-19 situation as it unfolds and are prepared to extend precautions as necessary while fulfilling our mission and obligations.

The NCMS collaboration model stands ready to utilize our network of companies, government and academic partners to support US innovation and manufacturing requirements as we ramp up, as a nation, to meet the critical supply needs during this period. Our existing framework coupled with the ability to quickly organize our network for immediate effectiveness can contribute to technology solutions and manufacturing capabilities now and into the future.

We are proud of the commitment and dedication of the NCMS staff, our members and partners and all our other stakeholders. We are grateful to everyone in the NCMS  community for their thoughtful response to this situation and for your understanding and flexibility as we continue our important work for the nation.
