Predictive Analytics Solution for Disparate Data Systems

Problem: Time dependent competition for resources, to include money, people, and equipment, across known and unknown demands creates a complex decision environment for leaders and operators of large private and public sector organizations.  The technology gap associated with bringing together disparate data, automated workflow and intelligent predictive analytics results in higher product costs, job uncertainty and puts American Industry at risk against our near peer competitors potentially impacting the United States (U.S.) economy.  Integrating and correlating large amounts of disparate and latent data for use across specific applications in near real time is needed to ensure proper maintenance and sustainment of business operations in today’s unpredictable environment.

Benefit: This initiative will demonstrate how an innovative technology enabled solution can co-exist with existing data and operations to significantly reduce typical decision time and move large organizations to informed planning versus reactive decision making.  This will provide commercial organizations and the public with greater predictability, increased readiness and affordable risk informed security.

Solution/Approach: The ability to centralize, correlate, analyze and visualize critical data will significantly reduce maintenance cost and increase the quality and availability of delivered services.  The solution to these issues will allow decision makers to focus on the more critical tasks associated with operating, maintaining, and sustaining large, complex organizations, and will further provide a cost-effective enterprise information management framework that can leverage legacy/historical data and systems to the maximum extent possible.  It will also facilitate rapid implementation of innovative technologies and automation in a secure environment which will significantly increase the efficiency and effectiveness of these organizations.  Providing decision makers with data-informed situational awareness and the ability to rapidly test multiple courses of actions and “what if” scenarios will significantly reduce delivery cost, decision risk, and provide data-driven decision space for stakeholders.
