Ground Vehicle Maintenance Trainer

NCMS Project #: 141025

Problem: In both the private and public space, educators and administrators are continually searching for tools that can be applied to positively impact the overall educational experience and improve the availability of learning tools and skill sets of their students. In particular, distance learning or “e-learning” can be exploited by embracing disruptive technologies to improve the learning experience.

Benefit: The project benefits a broad range of learners, benefiting the public good by providing improved access to education across large geographic areas, while also providing the same benefits to the military community of learners as well.

Solution/Approach: This project will develop and demonstrate updated Bradley Hands-On Turret Trainer (HOTT), and Part Task Trainer (PTT) solutions that facilitate exceptional training. It will include concurrency updates, technology refresh, equipment refurbishment, and expansion of the system to include a driver’s station for the PTT. This is envisioned to be an innovative Bradley training solution that will incorporate the Common Software Library (BCSL), portions of the highly successful Bradley COFT design, and a new Maintenance Training System (MTS) Enhanced Features Library provided to the Government with unlimited rights.
