Problem: The rapid expansion of cyber technology, crimes and offensive/defensive cyber operations is driving commercial industry to accelerate how they transition from legacy acquisition and procurement processes characterized by lagging timelines and fragmented development styles to a more robust methodology that identifies priorities and provides constant delivery of valuable cyber capabilities.
Benefit: The intent of this initiative is to start with an environment, notorious for its rigid structures, rooted in traditional acquisition and development processes, and transform it into a modern-era, agile business operation, capable of competing in the software age, performing specialized cyber operations to protect and serve the United States. This initiative will deliver cutting edge tailored agile framework training, scalable to compliment any size business with the fundamental rigor of Lean-Agile processes to survive in the digital age.
Solution/Approach: The intent of this project is to utilize the U.S. Air Force as a platform to develop a scaled solution for transforming a legacy acquisition and procurement cyber operation enterprise into a lean-agile entity. The objective of this initiative is to establish a tailored agile training program that aides and guides the transformation of traditional legacy acquisition system development and sustainment organizations into Lean-Agile enterprises that can independently sustain the delivery of high quality, secure, valued capability at the speed of need for their customers.
