Problem: The issues with checking aircraft electronics and wiring systems quickly, effectively and within reasonable cost targets are universal. Generally, the worst-case scenario is military aircraft due to their age and deteriorating systems coupled with multiple wiring/systems upgrades over time. Using the military as a “test bed” to provide proof of concept for the general aircraft industry is ideal.
Benefit: These new generations of testers provide additional features, better accuracy, faster and are more ruggedized than the oldest generation. The tablet version provides new Graphical User Interface and new features that improve user experience on the flightline, and a revised architecture to connect to the testers.
Solution/Approach: Phase V proposes to expand AMUET capabilities to include the latest commercial version of the family of testers and cybersecure Internet of Things (IOT) configuration to provide global access to production and sustainment engineering to support fleet readiness.
