Member Spotlight: Software and electronics companies share the light

Companies with strong technology portfolios are always welcome to join NCMS and expand the network of potential project partners. Our member benefits include multiple platforms to bring this network of technology providers together with end users to fill gaps and address the needs of our various partners. NCMS welcomed several new members in 2017, both small and large companies with a wide range of technologies, products, and services. We continue to highlight the capabilities and expertise of new members to introduce them to the larger NCMS network and promote them by posting their information on our website. PTC and Benchmark Electronics, Inc. are two excellent examples of the high-quality companies we engage with daily.

PTC’s field-proven solutions and services help industry and government organizations design, manufacture, operate, and service products in a smart, connected world. Today, our industry-leading platform enables you to unlock value at the convergence of the physical and digital worlds. With PTC, manufacturers, repair centers, and partners capitalize on the promise of the Internet of Things and Augmented Reality technology today while driving the future.

Our Federal Aerospace and Defense (FA&D) team, led by H. Brent Baker, Senior Vice President Worldwide FA&D, understands the unique, complex, and deep challenges faced by all parties in the “Congress to Warfighter” value chain. Such complex, multi-layered operational challenges require highly specialized technology platforms.

PTC solutions and services revolutionize the delivery of highly specialized and sophisticated solutions to the supply chains they operationalize. The DoD, DHS, defense OEMs, leading airlines, and MROs use PTC solutions to harmonize inventory planning and optimize the service supply chain in support of their complex assets today and in the future.

Further, several PTC cloud offerings have received FedRAMP certification after a rigorous evaluation showed that PTC’s security practices and controls meet the U.S. Federal Government’s high security standards for cloud services.

PTC’s Systems of Systems approach enables design, manufacture, repair, and service of assets “end-to-end” in their lifecycle. Our “wrap and extend” strategy is unique and enables our partners to make use of their current legacy software investments while ushering in the latest, most innovative technology available to reduce risk and costs. Thus, by leveraging PTC’s out-of-the-box solutions, our customers design faster and smarter, rapidly deploy new innovations, clearly convey complex product information, and optimize service to maximize readiness for all land, air, or sea-based assets.

PTC is thrilled to join the NCMS community. We look forward to collaborating with NCMS members to gain a deeper understanding of the challenges faced, help advance our nation’s competitiveness, and continue to assist solving the most intractable readiness challenges.
