EXLOG Wargame VII

EXLOG Wargame is a USMC annual exercise that typically takes place during the summer months and has been occurring over the last 8 years.  The Deputy Commandant of the Marine Corps for Installations and Logistics (DC I&L) is the advocate for the Wargame.  Its purpose is to demonstrate improved Logistics Chain Management (LCM) and Command and Control for Logistics (C2 for Log) operational capabilities in order to guide I&L’s advocacy efforts and future resource investments.

To accomplish this, partnership with PP&O, CD&I, MCSC, LOGCOM, OPFOR, OPNAV N4, ONR, & Industry are entered into and events are scheduled to allow for the demonstration, sharing, exploitation and review of technologies, solutions, processes and ideas.  One key goal is understanding  how to achieve an  interoperable log IT portfolio that provides a more integrated and scalable end-to-end Logistics Chain Management (LCM) and Command and Control (C2) for Logistics capability supporting the Operating Forces’ and the Supporting Establishment’s requirements.

EXLOG Wargame VII was held in Quantico, VA during June of 2013 and utilized a Joint/Inter Agency and Coalition Humanitarian Assistance/Disaster Relief scenario.  Actual USMC, USN and British Army elements participated in this two week evolution.  This video is a synopsis of the events and activities that occurred during this Wargame.
