In accordance with this year’s theme, “Use of Cold Spray at Point of Need” there will be 4 major segments to the agenda across the two-day hybrid conference event. CSAT speakers will be presenting within one of the topics below.
- Point of Need
- Cold Spray Ecosystem
- Projects & Programs
- Science and Technology (S&T)
CSAT is excited to introduce this new meeting structure as part of the hybrid meeting experience. The Point of Need conversation will drive the overarching theme of portability and repairs utilizing cold spray on the go. Numerous advancements have been made regarding cold spray mobile units in recent years. Cold spray has been implemented in remote locations, apart from the production floor, making it a true fielded technology.
The Cold Spray Ecosystem segment will cover the necessities of operation from beginning to end including metallic alloy powders, cold spray equipment, inspection, etc.
As part of the Projects & Programs segment, speaker content will include military-grade research and the development of cold spray technology. New announcements will be made during these talks that align with the mission of the Cold Spray Action Team.
The Science & Technology section will address the improvements in cold spray structural repair as well as various materials and methods testing. Advances in feedstock powder have made it possible for cold spray material properties that were thought to be impossible just several years ago.
