Wake Up, Manufacturing, You’re Late

recent University of Michigan study
notes that factories produce about 75
percent of what we consume. The warning
that follows, though, indicates that as
much as 40 percent of that could go
overseas (or at least out of the United
States) if we make the wrong policy
decisions.

New Manufacturing Short Course- Surface
Modeling and Design

This new 6-week online course will offer
students a unique learning opportunity
through combination of lectures,
demonstrations and hands-on design
assignments utilizing CATIA v6. Training
modules include part design, part
geometrics, drawings and drafting,
generative shape design and assembly
design.
