President Obama recently announced the Advanced Manufacturing Partnership (AMP), a national effort devoted to collaboration between industry, academia, and federal government to drive innovative technologies that will create quality manufacturing jobs and enhance global competitiveness.

Digital Manufacturing Portal Launches

NCMS announced the launch of Digital Manufacturing Report, devoted to applications for high performance modeling and simulation, digital manufacturing solutions, and advanced manufacturing technologies for small and medium-sized organizations. In partnership with Tabor Communications Inc., the portal will provide the manufacturing industry with news, resources, and information about developments taking place in digital manufacturing, modeling and simulation.  Full Article
