Steve Jobs, founder of Apple, embodied innovation at its finest and contributed greatly to technology as we know it today. He forged a path for advanced technologies, leading the charge in many cases. From the early commercialization of the home computer to changing the way we listen to music, watch movies, and even make calls, Jobs and Apple innovated products that found an elegant balance of style and technology.

This industry, the United States and the world would not be what it is today without this great mind.

Steve’s vision has laid the groundwork for advanced modeling and simulation tools, and has been a great example of what an innovative manufacturer looks like in today’s day and age: nimble, bold, customer-focused, and relentlessly self-evaluating.

We are saddened that his time was too short here on earth, but stand in awe of all he has accomplished in his life, and the legacy he leaves behind.

Our thoughts are with his family and his corporation during this time of grief, and we know that his vision will continue to be seen and credited throughout the future of advanced manufacturing technologies.
