DoE SBIR/STTR Effort…One Year Later
NCMS Digital Manufacturing Strategic Interest Group Meeting
Hosted by CCAT - May 9 & 10, 2012
Connecticut Convention Center, Hartford, CT
This meeting is being held in coordination with the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME) Mfg4 – Manufacturing 4 the Future Conference & Exposition May 8th – 10th 2012 at the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford, CT and was developed by Industry Advisors & Partners. The DM SIG meeting will be spread over two days to allow SIG members to attend the Mfg4 event. Mfg4 hours are May 8th 9:00 – 5:00, May 9th 9:00- 5:00, May 10th 9:00 – 4:00 SIG business will be conducted the afternoon of May 9th and May 10th.
We encourage you to attend the Mfg4 event as they have an excellent agenda with impressive complimentary daily Keynotes. Registration for the overall Mfg4 is required. Entrance to the exposition with over 240 exhibitors is free until May 4th. The conference which includes morning and lunch keynotes is $225.00 for one day, $450.00 for two days or $675.00 for the full conference. NCMS members receive a 10% discount off these prices. To receive this discount, please enter registration code NCMS when prompted on the first page of the registration process. The Mfg4 conference ends daily at 2:00 so you can attend both the conference and the DM SIG meeting
Please Note – it is NOT a requirement for you to register for the Mfg4 conference in order to attend the SIG meeting. However, the exposition floor as well as the morning keynotes are free to attend, but require registration so we recommend that if you are attending the SIG meeting, you at least register for the free portion of Mfg4 so that you may move throughout the convention center freely.
The afternoons of May 9th & 10th, the DM SIG will meet at the convention center in Room 21- Level 6 and will have a main session followed by two subcommittee breakout sessions. Please see below for the date of each subcommittee. If you have not yet signed up to participate on a subcommittee, you may indicate which one you would like to join on the SIG registration form.
The cost for the DM SIG meeting is $200. We will be hosting a dinner for DM SIG members after the afternoon meeting on May 9th at VIVO Trattoria Restaurant from 7pm – 9pm ET. Please indicate on the registration form if you will be able to attend.
