January 2014 Welcome to The CTMA Connector, a monthly newsletter designed to provide news and ideas about the Commercial Technologies for Maintenance Activities (CTMA) program. The CTMA program is a joint Department of Defense/National Center for Manufacturing Sciences (DoD/NCMS) effort promoting collaborative technology development between industry and the DoD maintenance and repair facilities.
January 22, 2014. The NCMS has partnered with the National Science Foundation under the National Nanotechnology Initiative (NNI) to launch its latest study of commercialization trends in nanotechnology and nanofabrication– previous studies were performed in 2003, 2006 and 2009.

It’s part of the Washington, D.C.-based Manufacturing Institute’s Science, Technology, Engineering, and Production (STEP) Initiative. Rebecca will join a select group of women whose outstanding contributions to manufacturing promote women in industry.
