June 25, 2013. NCMS hosted the French Lightweight Vehicle Partnership Delegation at its headquarters Wednesday, June 19th. The purpose of the meeting was to present the outcomes of NCMS’ highly successful Lightweight for Automotive Materials Program (LAMP) to representatives from ten companies from France doing work in the same field, in return, NCMS and its members learned about the advances these companies were making throughout Europe and discussed collaboration opportunities.
June 20, 2013. NCMS, in collaboration with Puget Sound Naval Shipyard & IMF and NUWC Keyport, WA, held the 2nd Annual Underwater Vehicle Competition at Olympic High School Pool in Bremerton, WA. This event, aimed at promoting higher education in the fields of science, technology, engineering and math, hosted 116 students from 15 western Washington schools.
June 13, 2013. Innovation is tricky, although it has worked its way into the lexicon of virtually all business practices in the last ten years. Being innovative is not as simple as utilizing the latest technologies or adopting new processes and procedures. Creating innovation is a much more intricate process.
