NCMS Expands its Board of Directors
ANN ARBOR, MI – January 10, 2012 The National Center for Manufacturing Sciences (NCMS) continues its commitment to enhancing the global competitiveness of U.S. manufacturing, announcing today that five new members have joined its Board of Directors. The NCMS board now includes Dr. Dianne Chong of The Boeing Company, Mr. Doug Dinon of GE-Global Research, Mr. David Rich of Microsoft, Ms. Anne Tinker of Warner Music Group and Dr. Dawn White of Accio Energy. The newly elected Directors bring to the NCMS Board diverse specialties and areas of expertise, including strategy, finance, human resources, business development and marketing.
“Our Board represent s the critical skill sets needed to guide U.S. manufacturing during these crucial economic times for our nation,” said Rick Jarman, President & CEO of NCMS. “These individuals will enhance our already impressive Board of Directors, adding insight and skills that will enhance our key NCMS initiatives such as digital manufacturing, sustainability, robotics and other 21st manufacturing concepts.”
