More Efficiency, More Business
Mr. Walker will be sharing insight into DoE’s “Save Energy Now” program, an initiative aimed at saving 25% ”energy intensity” in 10 years.
Mr. Dolle will discuss GE Aviation’s plan to expand their use of the MTConnect standard and the benefits that the company has seen from its MTConnect pilot program. In this pilot program, the company has been able to remotely identify equipment problems and associate those problems to cycle time and product cost. GE Aviation’s pilot program has expanded to evaluate the use of the standard in improving production efficiency and machine utilization.
